Erik Kessels - Black Dog
Here we have a number of images which are taken from a book by Erik Kessels, who discovered a great quantity of photos from a family archive which documented the family dog, in the domestic surroundings. Due to the lack of light and the limitations of the cameras that were being used, the dog appeared as only a silhouette or a block colour. Due to the persistence of the family, and the improvements in equipment (film) they finally managed to capture the family dog in all its glory.
