The Grand

On the 21st, we were given tickets to The Grand in Clitheroe to go and photograph 4 live music acts.

As this was something i have considered as a career in future life, I was very keen on doing this as it was to give me a taster on how things would be, and if i could actually work in these conditions.
The answer to this was, put shortly, yes! I found i overcame problems with ease and managed to use my initiative. the rapidly changing lights and how the subjects were lit from behind instead of infront were one of the main problems, as i had to take a few test images to get my camera settings upto par, thus losing valuable performance time. as i tackled this i found i managed the rest of the night with ease.

I really feel like i learned from the experience as i will be more prepared next time. I would absolutely love to go into this line of career and i look forward to doing more live gigs in the future.
